Fantastic career growth opportunities PURPOSE OF ROLE: The purpose of the role is to review events submitted by stores to link people & vehicles, find, and attach evidence, and then pass evidence to Police with the aim of delivering successful outcomes on events caused by external people in the Boots estate. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Efficiently reviewing CCTV systems to find relevant evidence and accurately attach that to events ● Join associated events linked by people and vehicles to create investigations ● Provide witness statements for investigations created ● Communicate effective with Police and Business Crime Partnerships to deliver positive outcomes on investigations ● Participate in Lessons Learned reviews following any Opal referral declines to work towards more future acceptances ● Share success stories from positive outcomes to the Boots management team so that the momentum from the team can be shared with the store estate for engagement purposes ● Prioritise events linked to top 10% of offenders, suspects in custody, and high culpability offenders ie using weapons/violence ● Building and maintaining effective relationships with Police, Opal, and Business Crime Partners ● Share best practises so that the teams Standard Operating Practices (SOP’s) contain the most effective and efficient way of doing things for reference and training ● Taking personal responsibility for data protection of the work undertaken, following all Boots policies to ensure compliance ● Maintain investigations with the following information; CRN’s Stocklists, Till Receipts and CCTV Images/Footage. ● Ensure any evidence is shared with relevant approved recipients as per process.
