The post is based at Wareham Hospital BH20 4QQWe offer specialist assessment, intervention and review to people in Dorset diagnosed with ME/CFS. You will join a skilled multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, NICE-concordant care. The role includes: carrying out assessments, holding a caseload, providing evidence-based interventions, carrying out reviews and working closely with colleagues to support recovery.Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.Applications from candidates that require current Skilled worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible to apply for this position.Main duties of the jobTo be responsible for managing a caseload of people who have been referred into the ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Service.ACM will have responsibility for assessing individuals referred into the service and supporting diagnosed patients throughout their onward intervention journeyACM will conducting initial assessment discussing the person's signs and symptoms of ME/CFS and the impacts on function that have developed.
