Whilst you will be working in our Acute Team you will work closely with our Community Team to provide seamless care for our patients. The successful post holder will work across a variety of wards in our busy district general hospital covering respiratory, cardiac, surgical and medical wards and have the opportunity to work as part of a well established Nutrition Support Team . We are a small, friendly and supportive team of 28 staff, made up of Dietitians, Assistant Dietitian Practitioners, a Nutrition Support Nurse and Administrative staff. Person specificationQualificationsHCPC registered ExperienceSignificant postgraduate dietetic experience in a hospital setting Significant experience of working with patients who require oral and artificial nutrition support Evidence of involvement in artificial nutrition support decision making and care planning for adults in hospital with complex needs Experience of healthcare menu development Experience of developing and delivering presentations Experience of supervising dietetic students on practice placement Skills and KnowledgeExcellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work as an autonomous practitioner and as of a team Excellent time management and prioritisation skills Knowledge in the field of acute dietetics Evidence of leadership and team building skills Trust Care ValuesDemonstrates the ability to meet the values Flexible Working If you're looking for flexible or predictable working arrangements, please speak to us about how we might be able to accommodate this.
