A new vacancy has arisen in the Point of Care Testing team for aBand 4 Associate Practitioner . The POCT team provides essential services for Southend and Basildon University Hospitals and associated community locations. It offers a high-quality and responsive service, including supporting equipment and training of clinical staff in the use of POCT equipment such as blood gas, blood glucose, urinalysis, and pregnancy testing. The team works closely with nursing and clinical staff. Responsibilities include troubleshooting instruments, maintaining stock for POCT equipment, monitoring competency, and training users. The role also involves validation and verification of new equipment to support new projects and replacements. As a member of the Point of Care team, you will work at both hospital sites (Basildon and Southend) and community locations from 8 am to 8 pm. Weekend day shifts are also required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
