Maintenance Planning RoleWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team.The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective planning of aircraft maintenance, ensuring accurate and efficient scheduling. This includes working closely with Maintenance Control, Technical Services, and Materials departments to plan maintenance within specified downtime and provision required spares and resources.Reviewing maintenance forecasts and diligently planning all scheduled maintenance to ensure cost and time efficiency.Rigorously planning maintenance, detailing required spares and resources.Creating line and base work packages and work orders using AMOS, detailing maintenance tasks to be accomplished.Issuing work packages and work orders to Part 145 Maintenance Repair Organisations (MROs) with clear instructions.Ensuring all paperwork cleared by the Part 145 MRO is checked correctly certified and reported back in AMOS.Following completion of maintenance input, ensuring all paperwork within the work package or work order is returned and fully completed.Updating Aircraft computer records and Aircraft and Engine Logbooks/associated paperwork.Assisting Audits - Prepare aircraft records and reports as required.Preparing and sending completed work packages and work orders for archiving.Deputising for the Maintenance Planning Manager as required.Requirements:Extensive experience in Maintenance Planning, including planning, forecasting, and scheduling.Excellent knowledge of Critical Task and CDCCL fundamentals.Recognised previous Part M/CAMO experience within an Aviation environment.Expert AMOS user with in-depth system architecture knowledge.Knowledge of Part CAMO regulations and record retention requirements.Working knowledge of Aircraft Weight and Balance schedules.MSG-3 Maintenance Task Analysis knowledge.Aircraft industry knowledge, specifically airline operation.
