Are you a skilled Garden Designer interested in a new challenge with Buckinghamshire’s most prestigious Landscape design and construction company? This is an exciting opportunity to join our award-winning Design team, based in Penn, near High Wycombe. We’re now in our 25th year and have big ambitions to develop our business. Is this for YOU?… Our small and flexible design team needs another member, preferably an experienced designer used to managing projects independently, capable of client management throughout the design and construction process. Are you eager to learn more about designing high-end projects from our expert and award-winning team? Do you enjoy working collaboratively with experienced designers, architects, and project teams on domestic projects? Are you motivated by working directly with clients and involved in project details? If yes, this might be your perfect next role! What we need… Passion and creativity You will use your talent to solve real-world problems, develop budgets, and manage client relationships to deliver actual gardens, not just designs. Meticulous work, deep site understanding, openness to challenge, and a willingness to learn are essential. Technical skill A formal qualification in Garden Design or Landscape Architecture is ideal but not essential; real-world experience is highly valued. Proficiency in SketchUp and a willingness to learn AutoCAD are required. Knowledge of plants and ability to create planting plans are highly valued. Personal Attributes Fluent English, reliability, teamwork skills, and ability to meet deadlines are essential. Engaging personality and good listening skills are necessary for client meetings. Location You must be able to work from our lovely converted barn in Penn, near Beaconsfield, with a full driving license and own transport. Daily office presence is required.
