We are looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team and play a key role in maintaining efficiency, safety, and quality in our packhouse operations. What does the job involve? This is a key role in the department reporting to the Packhouse Supervisor. You will ensure the production machines are kept in clean, efficient, audit ready condition. Responsibilities include: Operate and maintain machinery to ensure smooth production. Monitor product quality, ensuring all finished goods meet specifications. Oversee machine room cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and staff hygiene. Manage production schedules, crop rotation, and packaging processes. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations. Complete production records accurately, including cleaning, maintenance, and traceability reports. Lead and support staff in the machine packing area, ensuring efficiency and safety. Work closely with the Packhouse Manager and technical team to resolve quality and operational issues.
