Working as part of a team, you will be expected to prioritise your own workload, and be part of delivering quality health care and health promotion / advice to babies, children, young people and families in Redbridge Main duties of the job You will be working alongside HV and SN to deliver high quality care and support to families within Redbridge. This will include - undertaking age appropriate health reviews in CNN led clinics supporting and leading on CNN led healthy child clinics assisting with the New Entry Medicals and National Child Measurement programme in schools You will need – to be able to recognise safeguarding concerns, work with families to help improve health outcomes. and escalate them to managers where appropriate excellent communication skills both written and verbal to be able to work autonomously whilst still remaining part of the team to be able to focus and plan your own work, fitting in with the team allocation Working for our organisation Starting with NELFT NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex. Probationary Period This post will be subject to a probationary period. High-Cost Area Supplement This post also attracts payment for High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,714 and a maximum payment of £5,941) pro rata for part time staff.
