She is excited to recruit a PA to join her tight-knit team of PAs who assist her with daily life at university. This client is a huge sports fan and partakes in as many disability sports as possible! She is also an Arsenal fan and loves going to see their home matches. For this role you must hold aUK Driving Licenceas you will be required to drive her Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle.This is also a flatmate" type of role which goes far beyond simply care work, and includes all the fun things you'd expect from life, like getting out and about to see friends, going to parties, going on holiday after graduation and much more!As Written By Our ClientI am a fun loving 22-year-old who is really enjoying both the studying and the socialising that comes with university. I love sport, which is why I have chosen to study it for the last 3 years at college and for a further 5 years at university. I enjoy playing as many disability sports as I can, but especially Boccia and I would need you to be my Ramper when I play all this will be explained!I enjoy listening to music I have an eclectic taste and would like to see more musicians live maybe even go to a festival or two.It wont all be work I also enjoy some time chilling out by myself, watching videos, playing games and listening to music on my iPad.I enjoy meeting up with family and friends I have an older sister and brother and we get together as a family quite often. Mum and Dad live in Dorset and I will be visiting them often so my carers will need to be happy to undertake some of my care down in Dorset (you will be given your own bedroom when this happens).Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.Duties will includePersonal care, study and social support; Work with the team to ensure information and issues arising during your shift are correctly reported and followed up; Assist the student with administration tasks as required; Assist in emergency evacuations in halls, if the situation arises, as instructed by the halls manager; Encourage the student to engage in clubs/activities and societies; Maintain good order, appearance and behaviour. Assist the student with the organisation of events and extra-curricular activities.The exact duties will be agreed upon with the successful candidate by our client to ensure they make the best use of the PAs skills and talents.About YouFor this role, we are looking for a person with similar interests to our clients. A sporty person with a good sense of humour, calm, patient and caring.
