LSA - Mainstream or Foundation (Sparsholt)Learning Support Assistant – Mainstream or Foundation (Sparsholt) Salary: Up to £24,243 pro rata (full-time equivalent) Working Pattern: Full-time or part-time available (minimum of 22 hours per week, 36 weeks per year) Location: Sparsholt Campus Closing date: 17th August 2025 Looking for a new and rewarding challenge? We’re dedicated to supporting students with SEN and ensuring that students reach their full potential. Over the past few years, we have seen an increase in students with Educational Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Special Educational Needs (SEN). We have developed our curriculum and expanded our staff team to provide an outstanding experience for our students. We are seeking additional team members to support students in our Further Education programs. Roles involve supporting students either in a group or on a 1-1 basis, both in class and throughout the college day. Students will access the college campus and the wider community. Support involves assisting students with various learning needs in diverse settings to help them achieve their goals and reach their full potential. As a land-based college, support activities may include working in the college zoo or with the Chelsea award-winning horticulture team. Much of the support is outdoors and practical. Applicants should have a good standard of education, including English and Maths at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent, and be willing to undertake further training. Experience working with young people, especially in educational or care settings, is advantageous. We offer training and support to help you attain professional qualifications. There are ample opportunities for progression; many LSAs complete our teacher training and advance into teaching roles.
