We are looking to appoint a full-time Assistant Psychologist to support our service users during their rehabilitation at Uplands Care Home in Fareham, Hampshire. Uplands provides high-quality assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and ongoing care for individuals aged 18-65. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide psychological input under supervision of qualified and trainee psychologists, including assessment, formulation, and treatment within your professional competency. Work within professional guidelines and departmental policies, utilizing research skills for audit, policy, and service development. Support the implementation of psychological treatment plans and contribute to care outcomes. Assist in psychological assessments, using various data sources and tools, under supervision. Contribute to care planning using evidence-based therapeutic methods. Implement psychological interventions individually and in groups, adapting to service user needs. Support treatment outcomes and adjust approaches as necessary under supervision. Participate in risk assessments and contribute to a psychologically informed framework of care.
