Main duties of the jobWe are a busy working environment with a high turnover of patients which sees and treats children and adults with a range of conditions including minor injuries, major trauma, medical and surgical emergencies and mental health conditions. Clinical working areas include Majors, EDAU and Resus. We have a dedicated clinical practice educator team to ensure robust support and education as you begin your new journey. We have full time vacancies for motivated Healthcare Support Workers to join the Emergency Department Team. This job involves internal rotation for all ED staff and we work 12.5 hour shifts (1 hour break), day and night. Person SpecificationEducation, Qualifications & TrainingMaths Functional skills level 1/ GCSE D-G English Functional skills level 1/ GCSE D-G NVQ Level 2 in Health Care or related field Completion of the Care Certificate Skills & AbilitiesEvidence of good communication skills Demonstrate an understanding of confidentiality Evidence of ability to maintain accurate and legible documentation.
