We are looking for a dynamic, professional, and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our friendly & supportive multi-disciplinary team. Our team is a joint Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy service working with children aged 0-19 in Rotherham. We are a neurological and neurodevelopmental service based at TRFT's Child Development Centre. We work across clinics, patient homes, and school settings. Main duties of the jobManage a personal complex clinical caseload of children with neurodevelopmental disorders in various community settings. Assess and treat paediatric patients independently as an autonomous practitioner. Support Band 7 staff in planning and organizing the Occupational Therapy service. Supervise and teach Band 5 Occupational Therapists, therapy assistants, undergraduate students, and contribute to multidisciplinary team training. Engage in evidence-based practice, departmental research, and audits. Follow departmental protocols, trust policies, HCPC codes of conduct, and national standards. Provide specialist Occupational Therapy advice to other professionals within and outside the trust, including health visitors and schools.
