Employee Benefits:Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the Assessed & Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) for Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs) in both Adult Social Care and Children's Services, use data and feedback to continuously improve the ASYE provision, representing WCC in regional moderation and being part of wider groups and networks. - Coordinate and manage ASYE processes including portfolio moderation, induction, training and panels, ensuring best practices and continuous improvement. - Provide advice, support, and problem-solving for Newly Qualified Social Workers NQSWs), managers, assessors, and consultant social workers to enhance the ASYE experience. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support and develop ASYE programs and maintain compliance with professional standards. Qualifications: Qualified & Registered Social Worker: You must be a qualified and registered social worker with desirable social work education and learning expertise. Experienced Mentor:Hold a Social Work Practice Education qualification with current and proven experience of mentoring and assessing practitioners. Excellent Communicator: High level of interpersonal and communicative skills to engage with diverse audiences and a range of stakeholders at different levels. Strong Organisation and Project Management: Proficient in the M365 range of IT packages and remote working tools, able to work in a methodical way to deadlines and Service Level Agreements, prioritising work and managing competing demands.
