Recently, this has been formalised into a distinct Content Team, who will engage in projects that ensure our clients are earning the right to a fan's attention. This will be achieved through a highly customer-centric and bespoke approach, using a cross-functional blend of skills across consulting, data science and technology.Within this team, Strategic Consulting skills will be critical, to ensure our approaches are always customer-centric by:Seeking to understand our clients' objectives, pain-points and needs Defining how TFG can bring our proprietary technologies, datasets, and ways of working to bear Providing delivery assurance across the lifespan of projectsRole's Scope & ImpactTo this end, our Content Consultants will work alongside our Commercial, Data Science, and Technology teams to deliver best-in-class solutions to our Content clients. The Consultant role is fundamental to delivering client projects and supporting a variety of commercial tasks related to winning work as well as executing on internal operations to ensure the smooth-running of the Content team.Key ResponsibilitiesProject DeliveryWork autonomously on the delivery of client projects, with guidance from more senior consultants and / or commercial team members. This will include deliverable development, project management, account management, and executing directly on analytical and technical projects, across the end-to-end lifespan of projects. These projects will range across disciplines, examples include: strategy and analytics, to D2C propositions, to technical integrations. Depending on the project, consultants will be supported by the necessary technical skills from across TFG's Data Science and Technology teams. To this end, project management will include helping to lead and coordinate a project team of data scientists, technologists and designers to ensure that we deliver on time, to budget, and to the standard required for our clients Instill a client first mentality throughout all activities, ensuring that we go above and beyond to meet our client needs and expectations in all our interactions with them.Business Development SupportBuild strong relationships with key client stakeholders, principally at a project level, but also at a senior level when possible, to develop a deeper understanding of what drives them and how we can help them Support Commercial team members in marketing & sales activities. Including developing responses to leads and RFPs, proactive efforts specific to target markets and key accounts, performing research to further inform our messaging and positioning, as well as other tasks as needed. Identifying opportunities for further consulting projects with clients by spending time on client due diligence, understanding what strategy questions are likely to be on their minds, and where we can help.Internal InitiativesSupport the Content team on any strategic internal initiatives as needed, for example: resource management, market research, thought leadership development, and internal strategy projects.RequirementsSkillsA client first mindset with a willingness to work to tight deadlines A strong interest in sport - both an existing personal knowledge and a willingness to expand said knowledge in line with client delivery work. Strong core consulting skillset, which can be applied in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. Working across different business functions and capabilities. Including but not limited to: Project management Deck building, including clear storyboarding and structuring, eg in Microsoft Powerpoint Quantitative analysis skills, eg in Microsoft Excel An ability to utilise strategic thinking, frameworks, and experience to structure, articulate, and deliver recommendations. An ability to communicate analytical and technical concepts to clients from a non-analytical background by conducting analysis, extracting key messages, and presenting them. Demonstrated knowledge of the commercial sports industry - key players, macro trends, and business models.
