Purpose of role We are seeking a talented and dynamicDocument Production Specialistto join our fully remote team, supporting our client — a key global law firm. In this role, you will work collaboratively within a team environment, producing, formatting, and quality-checking a wide range of client documents to meet strict client deadlines. You will confidently interpret client instructions, follow established brand guidelines, and proactively seek clarification where required to ensure complete accuracy and alignment with expectations. Your day-to-day work will primarily involve Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), applying consistent formatting, layout, and styling to create polished, professional documents. You will also support with PDF editing and basic document troubleshooting, ensuring all outputs meet the highest quality standards and comply with client specifications. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong organisational skills, an eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely work. You will thrive in a team-focused, fast-paced environment, contributing to the seamless delivery of services to our client. Key responsibilities Create, format, edit, and proofread business documents to client specifications and brand standards. Perform quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all work. Review and assess incoming job requests, clarifying instructions as needed. Track and manage tasks using logs or workflow systems to meet agreed deadlines. Perform intake and workflow coordination functions, escalating issues where necessary. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients on project status or concerns. Use required software, technology, and office equipment proficiently to complete tasks. Troubleshoot basic software or hardware issues, escalating complex problems as needed. Follow Williams Lea and client policies, including data security and confidentiality requirements. Support a proactive, service-focused environment and contribute to continuous process improvement. Use equipment and supplies efficiently to support cost-effective operations. Personal attributes Minimum 1 year of document production experience, ideally in legal, banking, or corporate environments. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong keyboarding and typing skills. Familiar with additional document editing, conversion, and PDF tools. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand, clarify, and act on client instructions. Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy and consistency. Organised and disciplined, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments Adaptable and versatile, able to respond to shifting priorities, client needs, and workflow demands. Collaborative team player who contributes to a supportive, service-focused environment. Practical problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot basic software and hardware issues and escalate appropriately when needed. Exercises sound judgment and escalate issues appropriately.
