Job Title

The post holder will manage and develop the specialty information systems to monitor performance against targets and instigate change/improvements as required. They will contribute towards development of business plans and the planning and delivery of services. The post holder will also have management responsibility for relevant Administration Managers and the systems and processes necessary to support the clinical care of patients. The post holder will deputise for the Specialty General Manager/s, ASGMs as appropriate. LeadershipProvide strong, visible leadership within the service as part of a multidisciplinary team Drive through the delivery of ambitious targets to continually improve performance within the service Provide operational expertise and management support to all members of the service, particularly the Administration Managers Coach, hold teams to account, and be clear about what is expected to achieve the Trust’s vision Service DeliveryDevelop and review plans to achieve patient access targets at service level Ensure Administration teams develop their own processes to support continued service delivery and improvements Identify the impact of changes to services or increases in services on resources and negotiate changes where appropriate Communicate and implement process changes in services to Consultants, Nursing, and Administrative & Clerical Staff Manage and actively use activity information to monitor demand and capacity of the service Manage and monitor changes to the administrative systems of the service Provide operational expertise and support to service users and providers Manage service developments With over 19,000 staff, NUH is one of the biggest employers in the city, supporting health and wellbeing of the local population.
