On offer is a salary of up to £60,000, plus excellent benefits and the chance to help shape the future of the finance function.As a Financial Controller, you will be:Overseeing the day-to-day running of the finance team, including direct reports Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of management and statutory accounts Leading the month-end and year-end close processes Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Driving continuous improvement of financial systems and internal controls Acting as a key business partner, providing insight to non-finance teams Liaising with external auditors, HMRC, and other stakeholders Mentoring and developing junior members of the finance team To be successful in this Financial Controller role, you will ideally have:A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in a similar role Confident leadership skills and a collaborative, hands-on approach Excellent communication abilities across all levels of a business A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and commercial awareness This fantastic opportunity is easily commutable from Northallerton, York, Easingwold, Ripon, Boroughbridge, Helmsley, and surrounding areas.
