Service Coordinator - Location: Bermondsey, London SE1 - Competitive Salary + Benefits Our Subsidiary, Firetecnics Systems is looking for an experienced Service Coordinator, to join them on a permanent basis.Company Overview:Firetecnics Systems is one of London’s most trusted LPCB-certified fire safety company, with one of the best reputation within the industry for over 35 years.Firetecnics is part of the Helix International Group Ltd, which is experiencing growth of 30% year on year.Expanding in London and serving the Property industry.For over 35 years, we’ve been the trusted fire safety partner to residential and commercial property professionals—delivering fast, reliable solutions that ensure full compliance and complete peace of mind.As a one-stop provider for everything from fire alarm installation to ongoing compliance management, we combine technical expertise with proactive, personalised service.The role:Taking reactive call-outs and allocating them to the relevant engineersEffective planning and scheduling of the monthly planned preventative maintenance workload.Liaising with clients to arrange appointments for engineers’ attendanceSLiaising with field engineers on jobsUsing Microsoft packages on a daily basis e.g, Excel, OutlookUpdating in-house systems with daily activitiesBuilding strong relationships with external subcontractorsCompiling necessary paperwork from services and call-outs completedProvide engineers' reports to clients following engineers’ visitsRequesting purchase orders from clients as and when necessaryUpdating the client portals, as necessary.Working alongside the Operations Manager and liaising with the sales teamGeneral filing 'scanningIn addition to the above, general ad-hoc duties as required.QualitiesThe qualities required to be successful in this role are:An understanding or background of the fire alarm industry would be advantageousSelf-starterExcellent communicator with client as well as co-workersAble to allocate workload to engineers in the most efficient mannerAble to prioritise workload, even under highly pressurised circumstancesAble to motivate engineersWork under own initiative.Attention to detailPerform tasks efficiently, with a high level of accuracyPeople person (team player)Positive attitudeDriven by resultsPossess a polite and professional telephone manner.Proactive & Strong Self-MotivationFast/Efficient Learner.Commercially mindedSkillsA Minimum 5 years of proven clerical and administrative experience in the service industryProficient in MS word, excel etc.Experience within the fire safety industry is highly desirable but not essential
