Job Description

Title: Senior Project ManagerLocation: Norwich (3 days in office, 2 days per week from home)Salary: Up to £50,000 per annumThere’s not much you can say about Project Management to make it super sexy, is there? At the end of the day, it’s managing workflows and processes, liaising with the client and getting sh*t done. And in certain environments, it can be a thankless job being handed absolutely impossible scopes of work, with a budget for a stick man figure painting and being expected to magic a sleek and easy process to deliver a masterpiece worthy of adorning the roof of the Sistine Chapel.Or is it?What if you take it further, and explore the commercial relationship with the clients? What if you were involved in the whole process of engaging with a client and moving them into sustainable ongoing project work, road mapping from the point of engagement how the milestones are going to be delivered? What if you were helping guide the budget the client was spending, and ensuring they can actually have what they want and that they understand what that looks like at each stage? What if you worked with clients who, gasp, you actually have a chance of satisfying? And who were happy to work with you? And more than that - what if you actually had a say in the allocation of your resources and were trusted to look at the budget for a project and help dictate how it was actually going to be delivered, rather than being given the bare minimum and expected to have a "Make it Work!" moment? That’s what we want our Senior Project Managers to do for our clients.
