Due to continued growth, they’re looking to bring on board an experienced Bridging Underwriter to join their high-performing team.This is a brilliant opportunity to join a collaborative, dynamic environment where your expertise will be recognised and rewarded. You’ll be underwriting complex bridging applications and playing a key role in the lending decision process, working closely with brokers, solicitors, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery.Key Responsibilities:Manage and prioritise your own pipeline of bridging finance applicationsUnderwrite deals in line with company lending policy and risk appetiteMake sound, commercial lending decisions and escalate cases where neededMaintain strong communication with brokers, borrowers, valuers, and solicitorsDeliver exceptional customer service across all touchpointsCollaborate closely with internal teams: Sales, Compliance, Finance, and CollectionsProactively solve problems, finding solutions that maintain risk integrityMonitor loans post-completion to ensure all offer conditions are metKeep up-to-date with regulatory changes and best practicesAccurately maintain internal systems and documentationRepresent the business at networking or industry events as requiredWhat We’re Looking For:Proven experience underwriting bridging finance applications is essentialStrong knowledge of UK property finance and risk assessmentExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsDetail-oriented with strong commercial awarenessAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProactive and solution-focused mindsetWhat’s On Offer:Competitive base salary up to £55,000Hybrid working – 3 days from home per weekGenerous bonus structurePrivate healthcare, pension scheme, and other great perksSupportive and ambitious working cultureOpportunities for progression as the company growsInterviews are taking place immediately.
