Our Global Professional Services client is looking for a Senior HR Advisor to act as a key partner to business leaders, delivering strategic and operational HR support across multiple teams.This role can be based in Manchester or Leeds - Hybrid and is a 12-month FTC.Working closely with the Resourcing team, HR Managers, and Centres of Excellence, you’ll ensure a seamless employee experience from onboarding through to performance and development.The role is varied and in supporting the achievement of the firm's growth and development plans you will get involved in a number of ad hoc projects within the Central HR team on a regular basis, supporting colleagues in other locations or teams as needed.You will be aligned to a fee earning practice area where you will use your business partnering abilities to foster strong working relationships with the teams you work with. You will play a key role in supporting them day to day with operational HR tasks and work together to drive forward their strategic priorities.As a Senior HR Advisor, your responsibilities will include:BUSINESS PARTNERINGBuild and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted HR AdvisorCollaborate with business leaders to align HR initiatives with strategic goals, driving engagement, performance, and retentionIdentify and implement HR process improvements to support business objectivesRESOURCINGSupport HR Managers & Resourcing team in delivering timely and cost-effective staffing solutionsManage the end-to-end recruitment process, from vacancy approval to onboardingLiaise with Central HR Admin on staff changes and reporting; support secondments and leaver processes, including exit interviewsEMPLOYEE RELATIONSAdvise line managers on employee relations, disciplinary, grievance, absence, and benefit matters, ensuring timely documentation and complianceManage maternity, shared parental leave, flexible working requests, and associated employee lifecycle eventsPERFORMANCE MANAGEMENTSupport performance reviews, promotion processes, salary reviews, and training needs identification across the practice groupProvide consistent performance management support to HR and line managersTo be a successful Senior HR Advisor, you'll require proven experience in a proactive, business partnering HR role with generalist responsibilities.Additionally, you'll need:Degree or CIPD qualification desirableEvidence of taking a proactive and lead role within a HR teamHave the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervisionA demonstrable ability to influence at senior levels; excellent written and verbal communication skillsA clear ability to manage a complex and changing work-load, flexibly and efficiently
