We are looking for an InSAR Processing Specialist who will work to support the execution of our client's strategy to deliver science to more end users via new and innovative methods. This role involves working with a team dedicated to developing and delivering our SAR science to new end users that seek access to ground displacement data through innovative means.The ideal candidate excels at implementing rigorous process to implement highly efficient InSAR production pipelines that produce high quality data.SCOPE OF THE JOBDevelop rigorous understanding of InSAR technology for both D-InSAR and Persistent Scatterer Interferometry (PSI) based processingAssess existing systems and production processes to recommend / implement improvementsDetermine the most cost-efficient means to process imagery using a variety of data production processes (enterprise, cloud, on premise)Interact with product owners and scientists to understand the application technology direction/changes, standards and best practicesCreate and maintain documentation on best practices for InSAR processingDevelop and / or maintain Python based scripts to enable efficient processing of data to support multiple groups across the organization (Pre-Sales, Customer Success, Delivery)Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performing a variety of tasksEnsure that expected application performance levels are achievedParticipate in development planning and prioritization sessionsConvert raw image pixels into business consumable dataPrepare client reporting through data interpretationAssist in business development through technical supportREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of production experience, delivering high quality products to clientsMaster’s level or above in a relevant discipline (Geodesy, Earth Science, RemoteSensing, Engineering – for example Civil, Electrical, etc.)Knowledge of agile software development practices and ability to participate in development planning and prioritization sessionsUnderstanding of the fundamentals of earth observation satellites, including data processing and the use of software and production pipelines to convert raw image pixels into business consumable dataProject management skills and attention to detail for planning, execution, and reportingMust have technical skills:Strong knowledge of InSAR processing techniquesCompetent scripting /PythonQuality assurance and verification know howNice to have technical skills:Cloud deployment experience (AWS, Azure)Experience working in UNIX environmentsIn-depth technical InSAR knowledgeSpecific InSAR experience in infrastructure, dam, mining or other asset monitoringProgramming experience, e.g. PythonExperience in large scale InSAR processingExperience dealing with clients
