Central Employment are working with an expanding, award-winning UK Search Agency, as they look to appoint an SEO Strategist, reporting into the Head of SEO.Teesside based 3 days a week £35,000 DOE Excellent benefits, fantastic cultureGlobal client baseAs a SEO Strategist:- Be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networksExecute tests, collect and analyse data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in search campaignsBuild systems and protocols internally that ensure all content is optimised across all platforms and user experiences (websites, mobile, social, video, blogs, retail portals etc)Designing and running a large number of tests from a/b to multivariate on the full range of topics from CRO, content optimisation, UX, search terms to landing pages, all with the purpose of increasing performanceManage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepanciesOptimise copy and landing pages for search engine marketingPerform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisationResearch and implement search engine optimisation recommendationsResearch and analyse competitor advertising linksDevelop and implement link building strategyWork with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed codeWork with internal teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programmingStay up to date with the latest SEO industry best practice, including internet marketing industry trends and developmentDevelop reporting and regularly feed back to internal teams and management on SEO campaign performanceEssential experience: A minimum of 3 years proven experience of SEO experience and implementing SEO campaignsExperience in the following sectors; B2B technology, software distribution, e-commerceIn-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, MoZ)Advanced Excel experience – to analyse data, identify trends and present dataAn understanding of HTM/CSS, JavaScript and WordPressAn active interest in the digital industry
