Why join Prospect Law?PLL is a unique Multi-Disciplinary Practice which is ranked in the Legal 500 for its reputation in the renewable and nuclear energy sectors.The firm has grown rapidly over the last 15 years, and there are three key fee-earning sides to the business:Legal Services;Risk Management; andESG Auditing.The founding directors are lawyers (one solicitor, one barrister) and both are closely involved in all of the firm’s practice areas. We are now looking to attract a high-calibre corporate and commercial solicitor to assist with the management and growth of the legal services side of the firm.The successful candidate will be required to: i. Bring in and service a substantial client following of their own;ii. Assist with the management of the firm’s existing non-contentious client base; andiii. Grow both (i) and (ii) above through leveraging existing clients and the firm’s brand and reputation.The successful candidate should have 8+ years PQE. Working with the existing directors and team members, the successful candidate will also become involved in management activities, including the evolution of the firm’s recruitment strategy, the development of its infrastructure (particularly IT systems and including the use of AI where appropriate), and the identification of new areas for the firm to expand into.Remuneration package will be a base salary of c. £130,000 and a performance-related bonus of up to 50% of the salary.Energy experience is preferred but not required.
