We are having a full-time, 6-month contract position (37.5 hours per week). This role is based at Milton Keynes site, where we are seeking an Assembly Technician to support the production of EV batteries.Job Summary:Operates machines and production equipment independently in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment and may instruct or coach others.Requirements:- Knowledge of and experience in both mechanical and electrical systems is a requirement.- Battery assembly and testing experience is preferred but not required.- Candidates will need to be able to read technical drawings and work instructions.- Experience with both hand tools and machinery is required.- Usage of testing equipment such as volt meters is preferred- Ability to follow build and test work instruction- Ability to work on ad-hoc technical tasks.Education, Licenses, Certifications:High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
