We're excited to be partnering with a well-known high street retailer in their search for an organised and proactive HR Officer to join their busy People team.Location: Clerkenwell, London | Hybrid WorkingSalary: £30,000 + Excellent Benefits + BonusThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to broaden their HR experience, working closely with HR Advisors to support on employee relations, HR operations, and process improvements. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the HR function runs smoothly and efficiently across the business.What you'll be doing:Responding to general HR queries via emailSupporting HR Advisors with ER cases (disciplinary, investigation, grievances, welfare meetings)Advising on non-complex ER casesDrafting letters for various HR processesTaking minutes for formal meetingsAdvising on GDPR queries from storesAssisting on HR projects to improve service deliveryWhat we're looking for:Minimum 1 year's HR Assistant experience in a fast-paced environmentCIPD qualified with solid understanding of UK HR and employment lawStrong attention to detail and accuracyClear, confident written communication skillsProactive, solutions-focused mindsetExperience supporting on HR queries and ER processesYou'll thrive here if you:Take pride in being approachable, supportive, and collaborativeValue teamwork and mutual respectEnjoy problem-solving and suggesting improvementsAre motivated by making a real difference, not just clocking in and outSuccess in this role means:Within 12 months, you'll be confident handling all areas of HR, drafting ER letters with ease, and advising on non-complex cases independently.If you're looking for the next step in your HR career and want to work in a friendly, supportive, and fast-moving retail environment, we'd love to hear from you.
