Vickerstock are working in partnership with a manufacturing firm on the appointment of an SHEQ Manager.As the SHEQ Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality management in compliance with legislation and company standards. You will design, implement, and monitor SHEQ policies to maintain high product standards and ensure safe, compliant working conditions.In your new role:Advise management on all SHEQ matters and drive a safety-first cultureProvide SHEQ induction and ongoing training, ensuring compliance and record maintenanceConduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections, enforcing preventative measuresLead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actionsManage site safety for 3rd parties, including inductions, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.Implement environmental policies to meet ISO 14001 and sustainability goalsMonitor waste management, emissions, and energy efficiency initiativesEnsure compliance with ISO 9001 and drive continuous quality improvementsConduct internal audits and coordinate external auditsProvide SHEQ performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior managementPromote SHEQ engagement across all levels and lead continuous improvement projectsWhat you will need to succeed:3+ years’ experience within a similar Health & Safety roleRelevant Health and Safety qualificationsExperience with ISO standards and auditing (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)Good communication skillsIT and numeracy skills (MS Office)Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):Experience within the Manufacturing or Construction industriesExperience in Lean ManufacturingIOSH MembershipNEBOSH DiplomaEnvironmental certificationThis opportunity may be of particular interest to those living in the Ballymena, Ballymoney, Antrim, Magherafelt, Coleraine, Limavady or Dungiven areas.For a more detailed brief and a confidential conversation on how Vickerstock can help support you with your next move, get in touch with Sam Geddis, our Health and Safety Specialist today.
