Health, Safety & Wellbeing Lead (UK & Ireland)Bristol (with occasional UK & Ireland travel)PermanentWe’re seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing professional to lead and enhance health, safety and wellbeing strategies across UK and Ireland operations for a global FMCG business specialising in consumer goods and next-generation products. Covering a central Bristol hub, field-based teams, and satellite sites in London, Dublin and Nottingham, you’ll report to the UK&I People Director and champion a proactive behavioural safety culture while ensuring compliance with group standards and regional legislation.Key responsibilities include:Providing pragmatic, expert advice to managers and employees to embed best practice and maintain compliance.Leading quarterly review meetings, tracking actions and engaging stakeholders.Investigating incidents, overseeing risk assessments and managing legal compliance registers.Delivering and coordinating H&S and wellbeing training, including first aid and mental health initiatives.Managing fleet safety data and vehicle monitoring systems to reduce risk.Reviewing emergency procedures and supporting business continuity planning.Developing and delivering an annual wellbeing agenda and initiatives.You will have:NEBOSH General (essential), NEBOSH Diploma (preferred).Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland health 'safety legislation and codes of practice.Confident communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.Desirable: IOSH membership, experience managing fleet driver safety, and delivering training.A fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation and play a central role in shaping a proactive, sustainable health, safety and wellbeing culture across the UK & Ireland.
