Job OverviewOur organization is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial aspects of our Pollam Hall School project in Darlington.This role will be responsible for taking charge of commercial activities, managing cost and risk while ensuring value for money and contractual compliance.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the commercial management of the project, including cost control and risk mitigation.Lead procurement activities and manage subcontractor packages.Prepare and assess applications for payment, as well as monitor project expenditure.Produce comprehensive project reports, including CVRs.Manage change control processes and mitigate commercial risks.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.Requirements:Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying.Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.Experience in main contracting and large-scale 2-stage bids.Collaborative approach and alignment with organizational values.Full UK driving licence.
