Procurement Commercial Lead – Nuclear Industry – London, Bristol, or Manchester - £90,000-£100,000 + car allowance + bonus + strong package (up to 15% employer pension contribution, 8x life assurance)This once-in-a-generation infrastructure project that will play a vital role in Britain’s energy future are expanding their Procurement Commercial team – and looking for several experienced Senior Commercial Leads to join as they enter a critical phase of delivery.As Commercial Lead, you’ll take ownership of some of the most significant and complex commercial packages on the project, covering everything from civil and nuclear construction works, to major equipment and enabling contracts.You’ll lead on all aspects of procurement, negotiation, and post-award commercial management, working closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, regulators, and Tier 1 contractors.Procurement Commercial Lead role responsibilities: Leading complex procurement activity across your portfolioManaging competitive tendering, contract negotiation and awardManaging supplier relationships and performanceEnsuring contract governance and change controlBuilding and leading a high-performing commercial teamActing as a key interface with regulators, government, and delivery partnersEmbedding collaboration and best practice across the supply chainProcurement Commercial Lead must have experience:Senior-level experience in commercial or supply chain roles within major infrastructure or energy projectsProven success in both procurement and contract managementExcellent knowledge of NEC and/or FIDIC contractsConfident stakeholder manager with strong negotiation and influencing skillsChartered status with RICS, ICE, CICES, IOB (or equivalent)Degree-qualifiedExperience in nuclear or regulated industries is beneficialPrevious people management is also beneficialIf your experience matches the above description, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to accelerate your career and work on UK’s most high profile infrastructure project.To find out more or apply please send your CV to or apply through this forum.
