About the FirmA leading global law firm, are recruiting for a Counsel to join their FS Regulatory team in their London office, in the City.About the RoleAs a Counsel in the Financial Regulations team, you'll be responsible for providing expert legal advice to a diverse range of clients, from established financial institutions to cutting-edge fintech startups. The role focuses on navigating the complex regulatory landscape surrounding payments, digital assets, and other innovative financial services.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvisory: Provide legal counsel on a broad spectrum of financial services regulations, including those from the FCA, PRA, and Payment Systems Regulator (PSR).Transactional Support: Assist with corporate transactions involving fintech companies, including due diligence and regulatory aspects of mergers and acquisitions.Product Development: Advise clients on the legal and regulatory aspects of developing and launching new payment products and services, such as e-wallets, open banking solutions, and crypto-related offerings.About You:This is a senior role that requires extensive experience in the Financial Services Regulatory practice area, and a proven track record of working across the payments and fintech space.What the role offers:The role offers progression with existing work for the incoming Lawyer to work on, in addition to a strong remuneration and comprehensive benefits package.This is an exciting time to join the practice, as the firm continue to grow their presence in the London, as well as the international market.To ApplyPlease submit your CV.
