Broster Buchanan are delighted to have partnered with a fast-growing tech start-up operating at the intersection of deep tech, creativity, and media. They’re looking for an exceptional People & Finance Operations Manager to help them scale with structure & efficiency across core business operations, people and culture, office management, and finance administration.This role is a really broad role that is central to their next phase of growth. As the People & Finance Operations Manager, you’ll take ownership of internal operations and people infrastructure, ensuring finance systems, office, and teams run smoothly.Role + Responsibilities• Lead and improve business processes across all global locations• Work with finance leads on expenses, invoices, payroll, and budget tracking• Oversee tools like Xero, Deel, Remote, etc., ensuring data accuracy and compliance• Support audit, tax, and reporting processes as required• Partner with the leadership team on planning, reporting, and internal coordination• Identify bottlenecks, build scalable systems, and drive operational alignment• Oversee the smooth running of the London HQ, and support our offices abroad• Manage suppliers, tools, leases, and day-to-day facilities• Own the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, compliance, and exits• Help nurture a thoughtful, inclusive, and performance-focused culture• Build HR policies, feedback cycles, and engagement programs from scratchWhat you will bring• Have 5+ years of experience in operations, people management, or finance admin roles in high growth start up environments• Understand the basics of finance, HR compliance, and business operations• Are exceptionally organised and detail-driven - with a bias for action!• Communicate clearly and build trust with stakeholders at all levels• Have a pragmatic, people-first mindset and enjoy helping others succeed• A degree is nice to have - but your track record and approach matter more!
