Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Department of Clinical Health Psychology & Neuropsychology, based at Charing Cross Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT). We are looking for aFull-Time Team Administratorwho will support the delivery of a modern, effective, patient-focused administrative service within a supportive environment. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and positive team player with experience working in a healthcare administrative setting. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential. Our team prides itself on supporting one another and providing high-quality care for our service users. We are a close-knit team that works well together. We promote autonomy in our departmental administrator and encourage the use of initiative in their work. The candidate should have good organisational skills, be able to work effectively within a team, and approach people with politeness and sensitivity, especially those presenting with psychological distress or cognitive problems. Essential requirements include previous administrative experience, proficiency with large electronic databases, computer literacy, good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. The post holder will be responsible for implementing, coordinating, and ensuring robust administrative processes within the Department of Clinical Health Psychology & Neuropsychology. This role involves acting as an interface between clinical staff, management, ICHT admin staff, other Trust staff, referrers, and patients and their families/carers. The candidate must be able to organise their workload within defined guidelines. Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
