They’re known for their quality, service, and sustainability – specialising in ovenable, microwaveable and grease-resistant board packaging with a strong commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility. With steady growth across two UK sites, the business is now looking for a Production Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at their Croydon facility. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step up and take more ownership, particularly if you're coming from food, FMCG, or other fast-moving production environments. The Role Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll be responsible for managing production and ensuring the smooth delivery of customer orders through effective planning, people management and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities: Oversee daily production operations at the Croydon site Support performance improvements across safety, quality, output and efficiency Lead and coach a team of production and engineering staff Ensure compliance with health 'safety and food packaging standards Collaborate with planning, quality and commercial teams to meet business goals Identify and implement process improvements using Lean or similar methodologies What We’re Looking For Experience in a manufacturing leadership role within packaging, food production or similar FMCG environments Strong people management skills and a hands-on leadership style An understanding of folding carton or print-based production would be ideal but not essential Familiarity with continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma etc.) ERP/MRP system experience A proactive mindset and the confidence to take ownership and drive change What’s on Offer Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience Company car and annual performance bonus Overtime pay early finish on Fridays Generous holiday allowance A growing, values-led business with a supportive culture Scope for long-term development and progressionIf you’re looking to make your mark in a business where you’ll be valued and supported to grow, we’d love tohearfromyou.#J-18808-Ljbffr
