This role will drive end-to-end programme execution across mobile apps, customer portals, and web platforms — working closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.This is a senior leadership position requiring excellent stakeholder engagement, strong programme governance, and a deep understanding of digital technologies, particularly within regulated industries such as Financial Services.Main Responsibilities: Lead large-scale digital transformation programmes with a focus on customer-facing platforms (apps, portals, websites). Oversee the full delivery lifecycle — from business case through to implementation, benefits realisation, and post-launch support. Define and maintain robust programme governance including planning, RAID management, financial tracking, and reporting. Manage Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery models across multiple workstreams and vendors. Coordinate internal teams and third-party suppliers to deliver integrated technical solutions. Act as the key point of contact for C-suite and senior stakeholders, providing clear, concise updates and managing expectations. Ensure digital solutions align with architectural, regulatory, and customer experience standards. Champion delivery excellence and continuous improvement throughout the programme.Person Specification: You will have the following skills or proven experience: 8–15+ years of programme leadership experience, with 3–5+ years specifically in digital transformation. Proven track record in delivering complex digital initiatives – apps, websites, or customer portals – ideally within Financial Services or another regulated environment. Strong experience managing cross-functional delivery teams including architecture, design, engineering, QA, and DevOps. In-depth understanding of Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and hybrid delivery models. Comfortable working alongside technical teams; strong understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, mobile frameworks, and digital architecture. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills – including executive-level engagement.
