POST TITLE:Healthcare Cleaner (Evening shift)Location:Poole Hospital - PooleContract:PermanentType:Full TimeHours:30 hours per weekShift Pattern:Mon - Fri, 16:00 - 22:00Pay:£12.51 per hourResponsible to:Domestic Supervisor, Services Manager, Account ManagerKey Contacts:Patients, University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust, the public and visitors, contractorsJob RequirementsPerform cleaning duties as allocated by the Cleaning Supervisor and Services Manager.Maintain a clean and safe environment in collaboration with UHD Trust staff.Ensure high standards of cleanliness to support infection control.Attend training sessions and adhere to health and safety policies.Be polite, friendly, helpful, and proactive in improving work standards.Flexibility to cover colleagues during leave or sick days.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesKnow all areas of work and comply with statutory guidelines.Use correct cleaning materials as per training.Maintain cleanliness standards in line with legislation and contractual requirements.Assist colleagues and adapt to changing priorities.Work extended hours when needed and demonstrate a positive attitude.Comply with health and safety regulations, including COSHH and manual handling.Maintain confidentiality of patient and staff information.Additional Information Post may require work in varying temperatures and working with controlled substances.
