Its products are largely electro-mechanical in nature and are assembled both in-house, at its Swansea manufacturing facility, and by specialist sub-contractors based in the locality.As a registered medical device manufacturer, Energist maintains a Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 13485 & FDA CFR 21.THE ROLE:The Clinical Trainer will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive training in nitrogen plasma systems to end-users. This position involves onboarding and training new customers, offering ongoing face-to-face support, and contributing to sales and marketing efforts. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting clinical inquiries, maintaining training records, promoting equipment at shows and exhibitions, and collaborating with the marketing department.The Clinical Trainer will be a key player in advancing the proficiency of end-users, contributing to sales growth, and promoting the organization's cutting-edge nitrogen plasma systems. The successful candidate will possess a blend of educational background, industry expertise, technical skills, and a commitment to excellence in customer training and support.While reporting to the Head of Clinical, the Clinical Trainer will work closely with the Sales team in the UK, and take customer onboarding decisions with the UK Head of Sales. This will also include assisting with clinic launches and events where it is important to the business development in the UK. Supporting the sales team at conferences, workshops and exhibitions will also be an important part of the role.RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Onboarding and Training: · Conduct onboarding and training for new clinics and practitioners on Neogen plasma systems.· Assisting with clinical support, addressing inquiries, and providing guidance to practitioners· Establish and run training workshops either in regionally based clinics or other suitable venues. · Identifying gaps in knowledge and skills and recommending additional training as needed. · Managing training software to ensure seamless delivery of online training programmes.· Support continuous improvement of training materials. 2. Customer Support: · Respond to clinical inquiries from customers, offering expert guidance and solutions.· Follow up with clients post-training to ensure continued satisfaction and address any concerns. 3. Sales and Marketing Support: · Collaborate with clients to increase the number of treatments, thereby boosting consumable sales.· Attend shows and exhibitions to promote equipment, conduct demonstrations, and support device sales.· Participate in clinic NeoGen launches and events,· Attend and support sales orientated workshops 4. Record Management: · Maintain and manage comprehensive training records for all clients, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.· Maintaining and managing the training diary scheduling and organising training sessions efficiently· Actively seek customer feed back on the training and training contents using feedback and assessment forms. 5. Clinical Treatments: · Perform treatments at the Swansea treatment clinic as needed.· Potentially conduct treatments on high-profile clients based on opportunity and demand. 6. Protocol Development: · Contribute to protocol development by sharing insights and ideas gathered from field experience. 7. PR and Publicity: · Support the marketing department by contributing to public relations and publicity efforts. 8. Travel Requirements: · Be prepared to travel extensively throughout the UK and occasionally outside of the UK. 9. Clinical Evidence: · Encourage and support practitioners to generate clinical evidence in accordance with company standards ADDITIONAL TASKS:As the role develops there may be a requirement to provide training and support for Energist’s global distribution partners, either through training workshops in the UK or in the territories covered by the distributor companies. SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:· A formal qualification in Aesthetic Practise Minimum Level 4 Laser and Light Therapy (LIPLED)/Energy based devices · A strong educational background · Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the aesthetic industry · Clinical expertise · Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and presentation technology · Full UK Driver’s License · Own transport is essential (allowance will be provided) · Willingness to work away from home as required · Confident presenter with excellent communication skills · Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team · Experience in teaching or training others· Familiarity with energy-based devices or experience working with similar devices or technologies· Knowledge of dermatology and skin conditions · Experience in customer service and/or training · Familiarity with online remote delivery of training RELATIONSHIPS:The role is based within the Clinical Department but is by nature cross-functional with other departments.REPORTS:This position currently has no reports.WORKING HOURS:Standard office hours are 08:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday, with a half-hour lunch break, and 08:00 to 13:00 on Fridays. Working and travelling outside of these hours will be required for this role due to the extensive travel and necessity to stay away from home to attend events and provide training sessions to fit in with the clinics. Paid holiday entitlement is 25 days plus statutory public holidays.TRAVEL:Regular UK travel outside of your home base will be required. It is essential that the employee has the use of their own car. Overnight stays may be required on occasions.There is a potential for foreign travel, and occasional overnight stays will be required, and a passport is an essential requirement.
