Senior UX DesignerLocation: London (hybrid)Salary: up to £76,000 (depending on experience) +10% bonusNOTE: Due to the nature of this client's work, you must be a Sole British passport holder to be eligible to apply, and holding active Security Clearance (SC). An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Senior UX Designer with a SAAS/Salesforce focus to join a collaborative, cross-functional team working on large-scale, public-facing digital services within government and regulated sectors.This role is ideal for someone passionate about inclusive, accessible design and looking to shape services that genuinely impact citizens' lives. You’ll lead end-to-end UX delivery across agile projects, helping clients and teams navigate complexity with confidence and clarity.What You’ll Be Doing:Lead user-centred design across Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live phasesPlan and conduct research, usability testing, journey mapping, and service blueprintingCreate wireframes, interaction flows, and high-fidelity prototypesAlign UX with service goals through close collaboration with service designers, business analysts, and technical leadsFacilitate workshops and design reviews to support ideation and feedbackChampion accessibility (WCAG 2.2) and usability best practicesMaintain design intent throughout development by working closely with developersContribute to or establish design systems and uphold consistent UX strategies across productsRepresent UX in agile ceremonies, client sessions, and governance discussionsSupport service assessments aligned with GDS standardsMentor junior designers and contribute to growing the wider design cultureWhat We’re Looking For:8+ years in UX, interaction design, or digital product designSAAS/Salesforce UX experienceProven experience leading design for large-scale services, ideally within the public sectorDeep understanding of user-centred design and evidence-based decision-makingStrong portfolio showcasing experience with GDS service standardsExperience designing services for vulnerable or underrepresented user groupsProficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe CC, Miro, and prototyping platformsKnowledge of accessibility (WCAG 2.2), inclusive design, and usability testingExposure to HTML/CSS to aid developer handoff (not for coding)Familiarity with design governance, agile methodologies, and multidisciplinary teamsEligibility for SC clearance (minimum 5 years continuous residency in the UK)If you’re a thoughtful, user-first designer looking to work at scale, this role offers the platform and support to take your career to the next level.
