Job Overview Do you have a passion for learning and supporting disabled people to liveindependently? If yes, this could be the role for you!The successful candidate will be a part of an excellent team of people who support disabled people to live independent lives. This is an exciting opportunity to gain on the job experience whilst simultaneously gaining insight of the Human Resources sector.You will be supporting Disabled People who employ their own Personal Assistants or Support Workers. This includes creating job descriptions on their behalf , supporting with their interview processes, creating employment documents and supporting them to be a fair and lawful employer.On completion of the apprenticeship you will have a qualification in Human Resources and will have gained knowledge and experience supporting Disabled People, while working for an organisation fighting for social change. Responsibilities Attending Apprenticeship workshops and 1-1s with yourApprenticeship assessor. This supports with monitoring yourprogress and developing your knowledge and understanding to gainthe Level 3 HR Support qualification. Supporting service users with recruiting a suitable PA/ SupportWorker from start-finish. This includes creating a tailored jobdescription, placing job adverts on job boards and through socialmedia, shortlisting candidates, supporting service users withinterviewing and creating employment documents such as contractsand job of fer letters. This support extends to the lifecycle of theemployment and empowering service users to ensure that theirexperience of being an employer runs smoothly. Providing advice to service users to answer their queries regardingtheir personal budgets, Direct Payments and HR matters. This iscompleted through a variety of office-based contact methods,supporting them to make independent and informed decisions. Completing accurate and current records on our client base systemwhilst demonstrating confidentiality and understanding theimportance of our Data Protection policies. This is put into practicewithin every aspect of the role and is paramount to protect ourservice users and their safety.
