Support Worker needed at Local Charity 22 hrs/week (Mon to Fri) 12.44/hr: 23,935 pro rata (Spinal Point 2) Start date: a.s.a.p (with DBS clearance) Location: Hexham Journeys Learning Disability Support Workers plan and deliver a differentiated a timetable of morning and afternoon activities for groups of 8-10 adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. Client activities sessions are designed to meet the requirements of each Clients Care Support Plan, our Day Service contracts, funded programmes and the Care Act. Activities are held both on site and in the community, in line with our Day Service contract requirements.We deliver a varied programme of activities weekly. Clients choose their activities to meet the needs set out in their Care & Support Plans. All activities are designed in a Person-Centred Approach. This enables us to create a bespoke programme for each person. About us Journey Enterprises is a local charity which was founded by parents of young people with learning disability and complex needs over 40 years ago. Launched in Northumberland we now operate across the north east. Our Seniors take Level 3 Health & Social Care.
