Job Summary We are based in Hemel Hempstead and are looking to expand and recruit within the Watford area (WD postcode).The hours we are offering are 7am to 9.30pm 7 days a weeks, Monday to Sunday.We also offer evenings/ weekends/ alternate weekends.We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals, giving a caring environment within peoples own homes, ensuring that the individual receives the highest quality of care and assistance. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to enhancing the lives of those in our care, and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members to implement care plans effectively.Having a drivers licence and can drive is preferred but not essential. Duties Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management. Drive residents to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transportation. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on care plans and individual needs. Maintain accurate records of residents'' progress and any changes in their condition, adhering to confidentiality guidelines. Participate in the development and implementation of personalised care plans tailored to each resident''s needs. Engage residents in social activities and programmes that promote their well-being and enhance community involvement. Ensure that the care home environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for all residents. Experience Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with residents and team members. Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes is advantageous.
