We require 2 forklift drivers for our busy timber company located at Ipswich water front, duties will be loading/unloading of lorries, picking orders for loading, unloading of ships coming in from Sweden and Baltic states. Repacking broken packs of timber as and when required. We operate two companies so working at both sites will be needed.The ideal candidate will need a full UK driving , and also a counter balance forklift ticket, we do refreshers as and when needed, also offer training for cargo handling for when we discharge ships. Must be safety conscious in the working area, and good housekeeping . Daily checking of the forklift is a must and any defects need to be reported to the office straight away, so repair and service/checking can be organised.
