To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for anAccounts Payable Assistantto come and join our team based atHead Office (LE67 6HS) Job Purpose: As part of the Shared Service Centre, you will provide administration support to the Purchase ledger to facilitate the timely settlement of supplier invoices and payments across the Ibstock Group of companies. Key Accountabilities: Use the e-invoicing system to review and process invoices in an accurate and timely manner. Great attention to detail when capturing invoices Provide excellent service to suppliers when dealing with queries over the phone and email. Update supplier ledger information for new and existing suppliers. Liaise effectively with factories and functions via the e-invoicing system when querying PO’s for receipting. Ensure compliance to appropriate internal controls and adherence to company policies Communicate with other departments to ensure correct coding and approval of Non-po invoices. Provide support for testing of new AP processes and ad hoc reporting where needed. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Self-starter and ‘can do’ attitude Excellent telephone manner and communication skills Efficiency and accuracy when dealing with high volume transactions A flexible and reliable approach to work Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure Effective management of working time and being able to prioritise tasks Excellent attention to detail Tenacity to troubleshoot and resolve queries Experience of Microsoft office and experience with accounting software Working knowledge of an e-invoicing system Think you can make a difference?
