Imperial Health Care provides residential care for elderly residents with dementia and similar conditions. We run single-bed accommodation in Eastbourne, East Sussex, Bexhill-On-Sea & Cooden. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our well established team.*Benefits** Paid induction* Funding for further qualification (NVQ’s)* Career Progression through an innovative team structure* Holiday pay*Requirements:** NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care / or NVQ 2 and willing to work way towards level 3* 2+ years of experience as a Carer or previous senior role.* Knowledge and understanding of medicines, administration, ordering, and returns or willing to learn and complete medication training* Flexibility to work rota basis*Overview of position:** To support manager and deputy manager with the day to day running of the floor in the care home* Delegating and allocating all care and tasks in which need completing* To provide each resident with high-quality care, that is respectful, dignified and encourages independence whilst adhering to the care plan.* Document and report all relevant resident care information and report to the managers any changes.*Duties and Responsibilities:** To document and report all relevant resident information, including (Emergency management, Family involvement, External health teams.)* Administering, ordering of medications* To support a residents through temporary and terminal illness, including (End of life care, Hospital appointments, Personal care in bed.* Delegating and allocation tasks and care to fellow team members* Ensuring all day to day care is completed by staff* Take part in staff supervisions and meetings* To read and write reports;* To attend appraisal and development meetings;* To communicate in various formats.* To comply with the homes guidelines and policies at all timeFor more information please speak to the admin team on: (01323 532232.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: £13.50-£14.00 per hourBenefits:* On-site parkingWork Location: In person
