Please Apply Using The Links Below: The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will ensure the delivery of high-quality, financially sustainable services, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. The CMO will provide professional leadership for the medical workforce, set the vision for medical practice, research, and innovation, and share responsibility with the Chief Nurse for patient safety and clinical governance. While the majority of the role will involve Executive Director duties, a negotiated percentage of clinical work may be included. The CMO will be a key member of the Trust’s Executive Director Team, helping shape its strategic direction, culture, and vision. The CMO will lead the Trust’s Clinical Engagement initiatives, actively seeking and responding to the views of medical staff, and fostering collaborative working within UHNM and across the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care System. The role involves taking a leadership position in managing the local health and social care system. UHNM is one of the country’s largest and most modern trusts, serving approximately three million people across two sites.
