We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic Urology Outpatients Department, supporting patients undergoing LATP (Local Anaesthetic Transperineal biopsy) and flexible cystoscopy procedures.Main duties of the jobAs a key member of our specialist urology team, youll assist with the delivery of safe and high-quality care in a busy outpatient setting. Youll work closely with nurses, consultants, and other professionals to support diagnostic and minor surgical procedures, ensuring patients are treated with dignity and compassion throughout their journey.Prepare and maintain clinical environments for LATP and flexible cystoscopy clinicsChaperone and assist patients during proceduresCarry out clinical observations and document vital signsSupport infection prevention and control practicesAssist with stock control and clinic equipment preparationProvide reassurance and clear information to patients before, during, and after proceduresAbout us18 Week Support is the leading insourcing provider to the NHS, specialising in clinical demand, capacity management, and waiting list initiatives for both outpatients and day case surgery.
