The product’s roots are in high-end restaurants, but over the last five years retail packs have swept the ice cream category in grocery and food service.Little Moons has rapidly established mochi, and snacking ice cream, across Europe. Not to stroke our own egos, but we are a great bunch of people—smart, passionate, interesting, and funny—who work hard to support and live our values, all the while keeping our mission in our forethoughts.The Role:We’re looking for a brilliant Technical Services Manager to lead the charge on food safety, hygiene, and technical compliance across our site. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll shape and deliver the systems, standards, and partnerships that keep our operations running safely and smoothly.You’ll lead a dedicated hygiene team, manage key service suppliers, and take ownership of everything from allergen and pest control to internal audits and outsourced processes. You’ll also be the go-to technical partner for engineering and site leadership—bringing structure, clarity, and continuous improvement to cross-functional projects.This is a role for someone who thrives on detail, leads with purpose, and takes pride in raising the bar. You’ll play a key part in delivering exceptional quality, supporting our sustainability goals, and building a culture of excellence across a fast-paced, 24-hour operation.Key Responsibilities:Hygiene LeadershipDevelop and implement the site’s Hygiene Strategy, aligned with the wider Technical Strategy.Lead and manage the hygiene team across a 24-hour operation, ensuring high standards are consistently maintained.Own and enhance the Hygiene Management System across facilities, factory, and warehouse.Validate cleaning processes and ensure effectiveness through regular review and improvement.Ensure hygiene compliance with BRCGS, HACCP, and QMS standards.Allergen ManagementLead site-wide allergen management, including cross-contact control and risk mitigation.Ensure robust allergen controls are embedded in all relevant processes.Pest Control & Supplier ManagementOversee pest control strategy, including routine and biologist visits, incident management, and best practice implementation.Manage service suppliers including pest control, laundry, and chemical providers, ensuring performance and compliance.Manage budgets for cleaning chemicals, consumables, and laundry services.Ensure compliance and approval of offsite processesInternal Audit & ComplianceOwn the internal audit schedule and act as lead internal auditor.Drive continuous improvement through audits, KPI tracking, and risk assessments.TACCP & Site SecurityConduct site threat assessments and support TACCP compliance.Ensure site security protocols are aligned with food safety and regulatory standards.Engineering & Maintenance CollaborationAct as the technical point of contact for engineering and maintenance teams.Support technical input into projects and process improvements.People & CultureProvide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for your team.Foster a culture aligned with Little Moons’ values and contribute to the Brighter Future Sustainability Strategy and linked OKRs.About you:You bring solid experience in technical leadership within FMCG—whether in hygiene, food safety, or technical servicesYou’re confident leading teams and thrive on creating high standards in hygiene, allergen control, and complianceYou know your way around BRCGS, HACCP, QMS, and TACCP—and you use that knowledge to make things betterYou’re proactive in managing suppliers and budgets, and you know how to get the best from partnershipsYou collaborate brilliantly across departments, especially with engineering and HSE, to drive improvements and solve problemsYou’re structured, solutions-focused, and always looking for smarter ways to workYou communicate clearly, build trust easily, and bring people with youYou care about quality, sustainability, and creating a positive, values-led cultureSome of the benefits of working here include:Little Moons is a fast-growing and dynamic business, the nature of which means roles and responsibilities can change and grow quickly and at scale.
