The nursery was fully refurbished in 2024 and offers five bright and spacious rooms divided by age group. All have been designed to focus on development through play and exploration, with first-class resources to support our children. Outside is a large outdoor space where children can play and explore activities, learning about sustainable growing practices and our environmental impact. Located on Tressillian Road within easy access from the A20 and near to Brockley and Lewisham Train Station. Parking is available outside for the team.What Being a Nursery Room Leader InvolvesAs a Nursery Room Leader, you will work alongside the Nursery Manager to lead and inspire your team while delivering exceptional care and education. Key responsibilities include:Leading and mentoring the team to provide high-quality early years education with passion and energy.Supporting the Nursery Manager to ensure smooth nursery operations and consistent quality.Acting as a role model by promoting initiative, creativity, and high standards of care.Building strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to support the best outcomes for children.Overseeing the teams implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring engaging learning opportunities.Taking charge of nursery operations in the Nursery Managers absence.Encouraging continuous improvement through feedback and supporting professional development.Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that meets each childs needs.Ready to make a difference?
