We're hiring Assembly Workers to join one of the UK's largest roofing product suppliers! Your responsibilities will include assembling wooden roof structures using tools like nail guns, saws, and tape gauges to create high-quality roofing components. Key Responsibilities: As part of our dynamic assembly team, youll help create wooden roof structures by using tools like: Nail guns Saws Tape gaugesYour daily tasks will include: Assembling wooden structures to exact specifications Reading and interpreting technical drawings Measuring and cutting materials accurately Following health and safety procedures at all times Maintaining a clean and safe workspace Supporting continuous improvement and quality initiatives Job Highlights: Position: Temp to Perm Pay Rate: 13.27 per hour Overtime Rates: Weekdays: 16.58/hour (1.25x) Saturday: 19.90/hour (1.5x) Sunday: 26.54/hour (2x) Shifts Available: Monday to Friday: Morning: 6:00 AM 2:45 PM _(unpaid breaks)_ Afternoon: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM _(paid breaks)_ Night: 11:15 PM 5:45 AM _(paid for 8h, work 6.5h, 20min paid break)_ Benefits: Immediate starts Free on-site parking Monthly bonuses after training 2 weeks of paid, structured training Career growth opportunities as the factory expands Regular overtime available Supportive, team-oriented environment Long-term employment potential Key Requirements: Previous experience in construction or assembly work is preferred. Strong knowledge of using hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements. Must be proficient in using a tape measure and converting measurements from millimeters to centimeters. Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Safety-conscious mindset, with the ability to follow all safety protocols. What Were Looking For: Experience in construction or assembly work is a plus Ability to confidently use power tools and tape measures Able to read technical drawings Tools: Safety shoes and hi-vis vest are mandatory. Knowledge: Proficiency with a tape measure is essential. Youll need to pass a test during the interview on converting millimeters to centimeters.
